STC is a large open international community of Tamil Software
developers, Font Creators, Tamil Web-masters, Tamil Scholars
and teachers, vendors, and researchers concerned with the evolution
of Tamil computing and the role of character encoding in assisting
the rapid development of Tamil computing. It is open to any
interested individual.
The actual technical work of the STC is done in its working groups, which are organized by topic into several areas (e.g., encoding, keyboards, implementation and testing, etc.). First-time users might find it helpful to read The Tao of the IETF that outlines our philosophy too. |
