eKalappai Tamil Software

How to:

1/ Download eKalappai software

2/ Install eKalappai.exe software

3/ Start eKalappai1

4/ Type a Test word in Tamil and English

5/ eMail: Setup Outlook Express for Tamil and English

6/ Setup Internet Explorer for Tamil and English Browsing

7/ Additional: Win NT, 2000, XP only: TamilUnicode keboard Input.

8/ Additional: For TAB encodings

1/ Download eKalappai software

click

Download eKalappai http://www.tamil.net/newtamil/ekalappai_1.html

TSC_Avarangal and other TSC fonts included.

 

 

2/ Install eKalappai.exe software (After completing the download)

Start, Run

(browse to where eKalappai.exe is downloaded)

OK

follow the on screen instructions to continue the install.

3/ Start eKalappai1 for Typing (Tamil and English)

Familiarise your self for starting the Tamil eKalappai software and for choosing between Tamil and English, as you need.

Click Start, Programmes, eKalappai1

4/ Type a Test Paragraph in Tamil and English

Start Notepad (or Word and select TSC_Avarangal Font)

See picture above and click Tamil or English, as you want.

Start Typing.

Word Processing in Tamil using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc..) and Other Applications. Email in Tamil and English using Outlook Express, Hotmail, Yahoo Mail, YahooMessenger, and many other.

5/ eMail: Setup Outlook Express for Tamil and English

Click Tools, Internet Options, Fonts,
